Meet Our Team

Volunteerism is a founding premise in ACOO’s philosophy and is a concept that is put into practice. We believe that giving back to the community—neighborhood, one’s own family and others—is what builds character that is needed to be a concerned, responsible and productive youth and adult. 


ACOO presently has an all-volunteer staff working and managing operations. (CEO/ED, Store Mgr., Store Asst., Driver, Caseworker, Resident “Mom”.   


Self-referred or agency referred, low income, homeless, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, or women experiencing violence in their homes.


Mt. Pleasant Community Zone, Twins Construction, CEOGC, other work referrals, and even donors make referrals to ACOO.


Four Door Ministry, under the leadership of Kevin and Betsy Culp, has helped clean, repair, decorate and provide landscaping skills to Another Chance of Ohio properties. Because of their partnership Another Chance of Ohio homes have a friendly family feel.

Ohio Guidestone has partnered with Another Chance to provide safe, sanitary homes for our guests. Ohio Guidestone’s construction program insures that Another Chance properties are maintained in a manner that is consistent with Another Chance’s mission.

Service Providers

Received certification from Cuyahoga County in ethical practices enabling applications for funding. ACOO listed in 211 resource guide. Partner with Neighborhood Connections. Received funding from United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland.
